Who Is Ynw Melly?

Jamell Maurice Demons, also known as YNW Melly, is a well-known American rapper and singer. He is most famous for his songs “Murder On My Mind,” “Mixed Personalities,” “Suicidal,” and “223’s.” His fame grew after he was charged with the murder of two rappers in the collective “YNW”. Melly vs. Melvin, released in November 2019, reached number 8 on Billboard 200.

He was, however, charged in February 2019 with two counts of premeditated first-degree murder. He could be sentenced to life in prison without parole or even death if convicted. He is suspected of the 2017 murder of a Gifford deputy sheriff. Demons pleaded guilty in March 2019 to charges of double murder and is currently waiting for trial.

Demons was born on May 1, 1999, in Gifford, Florida. His single mother Jamie Demons King was only 14 years old when he was in ninth grade. He doesn’t know his father, but Donte “Tha Gift Taylor”, another rapper claims to be. Demons struggled to provide for her family and couldn’t afford basic necessities or housing. Demons King’s brother YNW BSlime, is also a rapper. Demons joined the Bloods as a youngster. In 2015, he began posting his music to SoundCloud when he was 15 years old. Demons was 15 years old when he joined the Bloods and started posting his music to SoundCloud. He was sentenced to several months in prison after being convicted of two counts of aggravated assault, discharging a gun in a public area, and aggravated batter.
