Chris gave interviews to the press, begging for his family’s return and claiming he didn’t know where they were. He failed the polygraph test, but pleaded guilty for the murders. He confessed, saying, “That was the last time I would be tucking in my babies.” I knew the next day what was going to happen and did not do anything about it. Now I felt free to be with Nikki. I was overcome by feelings of love for Nikki. I felt no remorse.”
