How Positive is Your Perspective?Must Read

If asked to envision your future do you find your vision brimming with excitement and possibilities? Do you imagine your ideal life to live but are weighed down by the many challenges you could be faced with to achieve it? If you are asked to describe yourself, which of the following comes to your mind to begin? Are you quick to recognize your flaws or do your most appealing traits come to your brain first?

A lot our lives are defined by negative thoughts. These negative thoughts are notions about what we cannot do or have in our lives. While there is no doubt that hardships, negatives and personal limits are part of our lives, there are clearly positives that exist as well. Perhaps we are inclined to look at the wrong thing and to be able to make a decision about the situation, instead of being awed and grateful for the positive aspects of our lives and the relationships that go with it. When we focus on the good as well as positive and what brings joy within our daily lives, we encourage thoughts of happiness. In reality, if we look at ourselves with a cautious eye positive and negative, they appear everywhere. So why not change our focus on the positive aspects?

Based on Dan Baker and Cathy Greenberg in their most recent guide, What Women Want to know, when one takes part in any positive emotion they aren’t able to simultaneously feel unhappy. This is because the mind isn’t wired to follow a course of action that includes positive and negative thoughts at the same time. In the end when we train our minds to focus on the positive aspects of gratitude and the pleasures present within our daily lives our degree of satisfaction increases. The more we notice these feelings of gratitude, the more we can be open to the positive options both in our present as well as in the future.

If you’re going through or making the transition following any difficulty in life having a positive outlook is vital in helping us establish the momentum we need to recreate the lifestyle we dream of for ourselves. If you want to start practicing gratitude and focusing on the positive aspects of your life, follow these suggestions below.

1. Be optimistic and hold faith in your opportunities which are presented to us. Look for joy in your daily routine and allow you to think about what possibilities are possible regardless of the situation.

2. Be confident in your powerNo matter the challenges that come your way believe in yourself and tap into the inner power you have. Explore deep and tap into the vast power of the universe in you. Everyone has this power however it is the responsibility of each one of us to harness this power and utilize it to fuel our lives.

3. Find your passions- Consider what really interests you. What is it that you are passionate about? Discover what are your interests and what gives you the most joy. Once you’re aware of the purpose for which this is intended for you, try every thing you can to live in your passion.

4. Accept personal accountability for your life-long making decisions. Make them with care and consideration. Also, be aware of the fact that you alone are responsible for the decisions you make as well as the life you create for yourself.

5. Be aware of your mistakes Although we strive to be appropriate, mistakes are a part of life. Take advantage of problems as an opportunity to gain knowledge and expand your understanding. Examine what happened and take active to correct the causes of oversights to happen.

6. Take a moment to reflect on the joy you have experienced previously around you. Make your goal to have five minutes every single day, to set a goal of gratitude. In five minutes, do nothing except acknowledge what’s important and what you are thankful for. The more often you do this the higher the level of satisfaction you will increase.

7. Be brave- Being alive is an excellent adventure! Follow your dreams for the sake of happiness while remaining in the realization that fear is just an emotion. Feel the fear but keep going!
